This is Ellie 002 "Sasha". She is about 50 pounds and she's 6 months and 1 day. Thanks again for a healthy, energetic, loving dog! Couldn't ask for better!
Hope too see you soon,

Johnson's Elenaore 2
Ellie is doing great. She is still living in the house with us. She crate and potty trained super easy. She is pretty smart and typical bulldog stubborn. She has a nice temperament and does good with all the kids. I have noticed that right at 5 months all the pups start to fire up when strangers come in. She is pretty typical that way. She just started with that but she calms down pretty quick. I just took these this morning. 5 months and 2 days. She weighs 49 lbs. That's pretty good for a female. I tried to get one of her chest but none really came out good. She has a great chest and really good bone. She is starting to get tall so it's a little hard to tell but she does. I think she might be a big un! Thanks again for sending her out like you did.
Thanks again Scott,
Aaron Rose
Johnson's Conan
I am the proud owner of an American bulldog purchased from Scott Weaver of Johnson kennels. From research I have found on these dogs before I purchased him, I had found out that they are loyal towards their family, especially the children. And it’s very true! He is very protective of his home, powerful, respective, and not afraid of anything. I recommend this breed 100%, especially if you have children.

Johnson's Odin
A bit about Odin, aside from what's above, he's a VERY loyal dog. Listens to me
without hesitation...but with others its 50/50. If anyone he doesn't know comes to
the house he goes on point and starts barking. Once in introduce him to the person,
he's the most loving dog in the world, and only lets out one or two short
yippie-type barks to let me know someone is here...then he's quiet again and goes
back to his guard post. He's also great at keeping stray dogs and the millions of
deer in the area out of the yard. Nothing comes in the yard unless I tell him it's
ok....all of this with NO TRAINING AT ALL.
Loves anyone with a spare hand to scratch his head and belly, is aboslutely
OUTSTANDING with the babies in the family (lets them tug his ears and pat him rough
as babies are wont to do...and always moves from kid to kid sniffing them as if to
make sure they're ok), and his favorite treats are those all natural butcher bones
(the real bones with meat smoked on them), the dried animal lungs (baa-baa-ques and
the like) and cow hooves. He's spoiled and gets nothin but the best. Raised him
from the time I got him to one year on Purina Pro Plan: Giant Breed Puppy, and now
started moving him on a 50/50 per feeding basis to performance. I think though, as
Mr Weaver suggested, he's going to go on the Pro Plan: Beef and Rice Formula. I'll
be hunting this fall / winter, so he'll also get a bit of deer meet every day during
the cold months.
To be bluntfully honest with you folks, I have Never owned or been around a better
guard dog (Military working dogs includded) who could do his job AND still be such a
big, loving, push-over family dog. Buying any other Am-Bull than a JDJ would be
throwing away your money in my honest opinion.

Johnson's Peaches
It would be an honor to be added to satisfied client page. Peaches has brought prue joy to our family and close friends. I am proud to own a Johnson American Bulldog. It's like what they say about being a Harley Rider. If I have to explain, you wouldn't understand.

Tuffie
Scott, Susie, and Mr. Johnson,
Thanks so much for sending us such an awesome puppy!! She looks great, and has an excellent temp!! All of us here are very happy with her.
I would like to thank you for both dogs I've bought from you. Both worth every penny.
Dolly and Dozer. Dolly is very big, very beautiful, and very speacial
(Goliath of Brame x Dolly). She just had a litter and it would not be
possible with you. Dozer is a monster, but a very big gentle giant (Rebel
Rouser 500 x Susie Q). At 7.5 months he weighed 101lbs! He is a freak of
nature. hehe. All pups are keepers in my opinion. THANK YOU!!! I'll send a
lot more pictures if you want to see more.
I thought I would email you some pictures of my ground pounder (Moose) you produced!
Dozer is just amazing, simply amazing I could not ask for a better American Bulldog. He is 131 lbs, has 30 inch neck, 3 and 1/2 inch wide paws, 27 and 3/4 inches tall at 15 months.
What has amazed me is not his size and temperament (a big lab trapped in a bulldogs body), but what happened when I let him loose on some livestock we just acquired. WOW, it was just instinct or something, he completely turned into a different dog and started working the livestock. Like he'd been doing it for years. Went straight for the nose and controlled them. In one week they went from unruly herd, to getting in line. When he's around they get right fast. He doesn't have to bite them any more, they just do as he ask! AWESOME!!! I will have pictures of that action soon on my website.
THANK YOU and tell John I said THANK YOU!!! VERY MUCH!!!
Take care,
~Marcus
***DOZER UPDATE***
Hello Susie,
Here's my boy Dozer at 141lbs, 1 year 10 months old. The pup standing besides him is
his son Tank. Tank in the pictures is 8 months old and weighs 110lbs. His litter
mate (Superman) at Indian Branch Kennels is 108lbs at 8 months (Mitchell Durden owns
him).
Anyways, I'm super happy with Dolly and Dozer. Thank you very much!

Johnson's Sugar Tuffie 157 "Little Ann"
Just a quick note to say how satisfied we are with Johnson Kennels.
We have a 4.5 month old puppy - Johnson's Sugar Tuffie 157 Little
Ann. As you can see she is anything but little. She is currently
growing at a rate of 3 lbs a week. She has a great personality and
has fit in well with a family of 4 kids and 2 cats. She also
socializes well with other dogs.
Thanks, The Martins
Little Ann
Bubba & Stella
Dear Scott and Susie,
In Feb. 05 my Father and I drove up to see your Bulldogs and see what a
real Johnson american bulldog looked like. The moment I got out of the jeep
and saw the first one, I knew I wanted one. We stayed and talked to Scott
for like three hours! After talking about bulldogs all afternoon, I shook
Scott's hand and said I'll be back to get a male and female. One month later
I purchased Stella out of DTB 65 x Liberty and Bubba out of Goliath x Millie
Pearl. We missed the first spring show, but got to take Stella to the next
where she won first place at 15 months in the 1-2 famle class. Scott, we are
very happy and pleased with are dogs and love them very much. I will for
sure be a repeat customer.
Thanks so much, Clay Beacham

Gunny & Tuffie
Dave and I just wanted to express our sincere thanks for the 2 wonderful AB's we've
received from you. Gunny (white male) 2 1/2 yrs and Tuffie (brindled female) 9
months are both more than we could ask for in both pets and protection for our home
and family. I hear people talk all the time about bad experiences with breeders but
we've had nothing but enjoyable times with you guys. You have been there from the
very beginning when we were searching for a breeder, answering all our questions and
letting us see everything you had to offer. And 2 ½ years later you are still there
for us answering questions and just always ready to talk bulldogs. We always have
such a wonderful time when we come up to just visit, BBQ and enjoy talking about
bulldogs. Dave is in Iraq and is trying to plan his 14 days off around the Johnson
show as he can't stand to miss one! So, thank you again for being a breeder we can
trust and friends we can enjoy. We hope to continue our relationship and always have
a house full of bulldogs!

Scott & Susie,
Here are a couple of pics of Rebelette 04 (sugar booger). She is doing great. I
took her back to the vet this past Monday to weigh her and she's weighing in at
85lbs, she just turned 8 mths old on the 9th. I love taking her with me when I
go to town, people are always wanting to know what kind of dog she is. When I
tell them american bulldog they say they have never seen one that looks like
her. Needless to say I don't call her american anymore. I just say she is a
JOHNSON BULLDOG. Also just wondering if you had a successful breeding with my
DB65 and Elenore.
Thanks,
Randy
Samantha Jane
Dear Susie
Dear Susie
I just wanted to drop a few lines to say thank you so much for such a
wonderful bulldog, she has become a treasured family member and my
granddaughter's best friend. Here is a picture of Samantha Jane (the
bulldog) and Camry (my granddaughter). She has brought so much joy to our
lives and she is becoming quite the protector. We had her to the vet the
other day and he said she is a healthy and happy pup.
I have included a few photos of our puppy. He was from Goliath and Sugar
Tuffie 150. We named him Remington, Remy for short. He is incredibly smart and we
are quite pleased with him. We have had a fairly easy time training him.
His stubbornness is the only thing that we battle. My nephew A.J.
(pictured with him in one of the photos) is his best buddy. The photos are
of Remyat 6 months and he weighed in at 70 pounds. Since then he has
gotten longer and taller, but hasn't started to put on his bulk yet. He is
like a big long slinky, but people still find him quite impressive. I had
him to vet on Monday and at just under 8 months he weighs in at 82 pounds.
The vet is guessing that he will be somewhere around 130 pounds as an
adult. He's been very healthy and growing at a good rate, but has
developed some allergies. They seem to be enviromnental. (The problem went
away when he was on vacation with us, and came back when we brought him
home.) With the drought this year it has been so dusty, and there are so
many strange weeds growing in our yard. They put him on benadryl Monday so
hopefully that will help. Already it seems like he is not itching and
licking as much. Other than that the vet said he is a very healthy puppy.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful dog. We are so very pleased with
him. Please express our thanks to Scott and John D. for continuing to breed such wonderful animals. .

Manson
Dear Scott & Susie Weaver and John D. Johnson
We would just like to extend our gratitude towards yawl. Our puppy has turned into a magnificant dog. We would just like to send our thanks for first off selling us our dog Manson and secondly for the great bloodlines that you have created. Manson is the best companion and follows and goes with us everywhere. We just can't stress how supreme your animals are. Everyone is amazed by Manson (people have followed us a few occasions to find out what kind of dog he is). At a year and two months he is a roaring 88 lbs. and seems to grow every day. We can't wait to purchase or find a breeding companion for our lovley stud.
Sincerely,
Mandi Charles & Sean Hegeman
Golden, Colorado
P.S. Oh yeah, since you're the pro with American Bulldogs, is Manson growing up to be a good breeding candidate?
Also are there any referencesyou can suggest for starting weight pulling training when he turns a year and a half?
Bo Donals II (Little Buck)
Bo Donals II (Little Buck) is the tallest Bulldog I have ever seen. I'm 6'4" and he stands up with his front feet on my shoulders! Bo is 147 pounds and still has not gone though puberty. He still does not cock his leg to pee. The vet said he would gain much weight during this time.

Subject: A daughter of Brandy B and Dick the Bruiser 65: Kaya Hunter
I just thought that you would enjoy seeing how well one of your gems is doing! She has 3 houses and a Brand new Lexus that she is a proud partial owner of (the backseat anyway). She is loved as much as a dog can be loved and she is the brightest star in our lives. I, the one sending the pictures, am her secondary caretaker. Her owner Kevin loves her and looks at her with such pride. she spends as much time with me as she does with her owner. Most of our time is taken up with playtime in the park and walks and the frequent game of tug of war. I would do nearly ANYTHING for Kaya. she means that much to me. I have been there since she was a puppy......with her pink snout....... and big ol' paws. She would trip over her self when she would run sometimes........and now......when we play tug of war.....she pulls me
all over the place....at her will. I would have it no other way. :)
some of her personality traits:
1. she likes to sit over you staring down at you and wait for you to wake up.....and if you're not up by 7AM.....she begins to whine..... with this sweet pitiful whine......you can't help but laugh.
2. she sleeps on the bed.....and if you're on your back......she'll place her head right on your chest and go to sleep.
3. she loves going for rides in my convertible. I bought her a seatbelt harness that works really well.....and we go for rides in my Miata.....she loves to ride....and anytime I pick her up......she pulls hard to the passenger side.....cause she knows that she is going to get alot of attention! :)
4. she has this habit of when she's sitting in front of you and you are rubbing her head and back......she puts her paw out for you to grab. (like she's shaking your hand). If you grab her paw....her tail starts thumping the ground and she gets all happy.
5. (My favorite).....when we go to bed...when I keep her....she'll hop up on the kingsized bed I have......and with all that space.......she'll snuggle right up next to you......putting her head right up by your upper chest and neck......and I'll rub her head until she goes to sleep.
I would like to thank you all greatly for what you are doing for the breed. and if I'm fortunate to be able to own one of these beautiful
dogs.....guess where I'm coming! :)
Thank you.....for what he paid for her......she was a bargain. the past three years have been filled with so much joy and laughter.......she really is an integral part of our lives......
